Khanacross Event Information
Sunday July 26th at Sapphire Speedway Tarlingtons Lane, Candelo
Existing Club Members - $40 entry fee per adult, $20 per junior
New adult members $80 ($40 membership, plus $40 entry fee)
New junior members $40 ($20 membership, plus $20 entry fee)
Will be held at Sapphire Speedway Candelo
You will need to be a member of Sapphire Coast Sporting Car
Club (it’s easy to join on the club website www.scscc.info or we can send you a membership form.
Gates open at 8:30am with competition to start around 10am
You MUST arrange a licence in advance either Motorsport
Australia speed or higher, AASA 12 month Speed Event Licence
or higher at www.aasa.com.au/licences or you can also get a
AASA one day licence on their website. Junior licences 14 y.o.
plus also available.
WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO A LICENCE FOR YOU ON THE DAY
All cars must have a fire extinguisher (less than 3 years old)
preferably bolted in (but inside a closed console will suffice)
Screwed in brackets are not acceptable!
All competitors must wear neck to wrist to ankle non-
flammable clothing
All competitors must wear a helmet (in good condition and free
from damage) and be approved to a minimum of Australian
Standard AS1698 (sticker must remain on helmet and not be
modified)
You can use a normal road car – No need for a fully prepared
rally car
Unregistered cars are acceptable
Cars must have working brakes, non-frayed seat belts, no fluid
leaks, battery held in securely and a solidly mounted seat and
pass a basic safety inspection.
This is our Third Khanacross for 2026 with further events
scheduled for September and November

Please bring original or copy of completed entry form with you
Payment of entry fee in advance to the club’s bank account
would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED, although we can do cash
on the day – No EFTPOS
Limited to 35 entrants, so don’t delay entering
Nominate by one week prior to the event to avoid
disappointment on the day
Please bring your own food and drinks, no canteen available.
